Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, such as when you create an account, submit a review, or claim a school listing. This includes your name, email address, and any content you submit.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to operate and improve BestSchool.pk, to communicate with you, to process school claims, and to display aggregated ratings and reviews on school profiles.

3. Contacting Schools Through BestSchool

We record when you contact a school through BestSchool (for example WhatsApp, call, email or website) so schools can see how many parents reach them. We store a random browser ID and a one-way hashed form of your IP address, never the IP itself.

Messages between parents and schools are private. BestSchool staff may review a conversation only to prevent abuse and keep the platform safe.

Schools receive monthly reports with counts only — never your name or contact details.

4. Cookies

We use cookies for authentication and session management. Authentication cookies are httpOnly and cannot be accessed by JavaScript. You may disable cookies in your browser settings, but this will prevent you from logging in.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with service providers (such as our database and hosting providers) who assist us in operating the platform, under confidentiality agreements.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
